I a seeing “Pending nameserver update” when I login into the dashboard.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I added all A and CNAME records according to the instructions. Nameservers point to cloudflare already.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS not responding/updating

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Login to the dashboard and see the pending message.

I would guess that you are in the wrong Cloudflare account. What nameservers does it tell you to use on the DNS page?

But my website developer already had them in place and they are different from these.

I’m afraid your nameservers got automatically changed by the software. Can you share just the names before .ns.cloudflare.com ?

But if these are different from the records set at your registrar, then you are in the wrong account. You might need to ask your developer for the credentials to the correct account.

That’s what I thought. That means you are definitely in the wrong account. You can either gain access to the active account, probably by asking your developer, or you can change the nameservers at your registrar if you want to use your new account.

ok. so just to confirm, by wrong account you mean we need a different login into the cloudflare site?
