HTTP 521 - CloudFlare Timeout

UptimeRobot occasionally (say, several times per month) reports that my site is down for a few minutes at a time and says the root cause is “HTTP 521 - Cloudflare Timeout”. This error seems to occur randomly, when I’m not making any changes to the site.

I’ve read a few comments in here indicating that the problem is with the origin server and not with Cloudflare. Is that correct?
