I set up an MTProto proxy for Telegram messaging application on my server.
The proxy uses TCP traffic on port 443 to connect Telegram users to Telegram servers.
I registered my domain in Cloudflare, then I added a record of my subdomain to my proxy server in the Cloudflare panel. But I have a problem and the Telegram client can’t connect to my MTproto proxy. Cloudflare can pass HTTP or HTTPS data and it works well but MTproto can’t connect. I don’t know exactly why.
Can anybody help?
Protocols other than HTTP are not supported.
Does Cloudflare have any services which support other TCP traffics? Can Cloudflare Spectrum be used for this purpose?
Yes, it can, but you’ll need to be on an Enterprise plan.
