How to setup a SSL for a CNAME (dedicated SSL cant be downloaded)

Situation:
I’m using a third party software (Google APIGEE).

  1. They asked me to create a CNAME and point to their server which I successfully did.

  2. They asked me to download the certificate & key and upload it to their server for SSL. I went to Cloudflare and downloaded the origin certificate but those are not for public use.

  3. I studied dedicated SSL but they cannot be downloaded.

What shall I do in this case? What would be best course of action in your opinion.

I truly appreciate any help in this direction.

They are not, but they will work perfectly in a proxied context. So just configure them on your end and make sure the record is proxied and requests will work just fine with “Full strict” as SSL mode.
