How to set up DNS records to direct people to a non-www domain?

What is the name of the domain?

coursescashflowgo (dot) com

What is the error message?

CNAME record with this host already exists…

What is the issue you’re encountering

I am not sure how to set my DNS records up

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I had to change my name servers from GoDaddy to Cloudflare as this was the instructions from Clickfunnels since I cannot get this URL to work which is coursescashflowgo (dot) com/optin-ads

I DO NOT want the www in the beginning but GoDaddy is unable to do this so I moved nameservers to Cloudflare.

I have tried adding a new CNAME record as “coursescashflowgo (dot) com” and content as “target (dot) clickfunnels (dot) com” with DNS only but I cannot save as it says that there is already a CNAME record as seen in attached photo.

Please let me know what I need to do in order for this exact URL to work: https://coursescashflowgo (dot) com/optin-ads… WITHOUT the www in the beginning and it CANNOT be a redirect as I will be running ads to this link and Google does not like redirects

Let me know please

Thanks

The error must have said there’s an existing A record, not CNAME record.

You need to remove the two A records for coursescashflowgo.com pointing to AWS IP addresses before you can add the CNAME record. This is a technical requirement for DNS.

I don’t know how ClickFunnels’ custom domains work but note that you’ll need to configure coursescashflowgo.com over there as well (just as you did for www.coursescashflowgo.com) before this works. If ClickFunnels does not support apex domains, then you’ll need to take a different approach and setup a redirect in Cloudlare instead.
