How to route traffic to Tunnel if domain name servers not with Cloudflare?

Hello,

I have followed the steps in the link. I was able to create a CNAME like ‘abc.xyz.com’ to ‘.cfargotunnel.com’. It worked just fine. The name servers for the above domain is with Cloudflare.

Now I have another domain ‘example.com’ whose nameservers are in AWS Route53. I want to a create subdomain called ‘123.example.com’ to route the traffic to the tunnel. As per ‘.cfargotunnel.com’ is not publically routable.

So how can I implement this without changing the nameservers to Cloudflare?

Hi,

Please read ‘.cfargotunnel.com’ as tunnelname.cfargotunnel.com.

Cloudflare Tunnel requires the name server to be Cloudflare so that it is Cloudflare edge doing the DNS resolution.
