What is the issue you’re encountering

My developer is not responding, I am domain owner however he change NS to cloudflare, also hosting is over cloudflare. I would like to regain access, as he’s not answering my queries, advise is appreciated

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have a simple account on wordpress so can’t really do anything

Cloudflare is just providing DNS and a proxy service for your site. You really need to locate where the site is hosted, hopefully that isn’t under your developer’s control.

You won’t be able to get access to a Cloudflare account that isn’t yours. To take control of the DNS you will need to change the nameservers as your registrar (123-reg) to those for a new Cloudflare account or other DNS provider and set that to point at your web and mail hosts.

Thank you for the response, domain is registered at 123-Reg however NS are moved to cloudflare, I can move back NS to mine but that won’t resolve the hosting issue - I need to get access to the WP, with me it’s just a simple account. Any idea or advise on this? Highly appreciate it.

when I checked hosting body, it says cloudflare - is this correct?

Cloudflare is not your web host, it is a proxy sitting between users and your host to protect and accelerate your site.

If you are paying for the hosting then you should have an invoice or an email that tells you who the host is. If it was arranged by the developer and is something they pay for, you might be out of luck.

The last non-Cloudflare IP address for your site was with Godaddy, but that was 6 years ago so they may not be your host any more…

Thank you so much, really appreciate it. We don’t have any of these info and developer did all, so better we sort it with him.

Once again thank you for the prompt response and concise information.
