How to prevent cloudflare from adding an x-forwarded-proto to outgoing requests

Hello,
I need to make a request to the following URL from a worker: https://cdm17272.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/iiif/agdm/29130//info.json
The problem is that cloudflare adds a bunch of headers to all outgoing requests, including an “x-forwarded-proto” header that changes the response of the 3rd party server on oclc.org.

Is there a way for me to prevent cloudflare from adding this header ?

EDIT: I’m not sure who marked this thread as solved, but it’s not solved. The “accepted answer” says nothing but “there is nothing you can do”.

How come?

I am afraid a Worker cannot change the headers the proxies will set. You can add your own headers, but there are certain headers which the runtime will always add, and that you can’t change.
