How to manage records pointing to proxied records to avoid exposing origin IP

I rec’d this message in my DNS app about my IP’s being exposed.
“Some of your DNS only records are exposing IPs that are proxied through Cloudflare. Make sure to proxy all A, AAAA, and CNAME records pointing to proxied records to avoid exposing your origin IP.”

I’m not really sure what to do about it. I read the similar topics but I didn’t understand any solution to follow. Seems like the only 1 TO follow is turn all the switches back to DNS ONLY, which I haven’t done yet.

Thanks,
George

Most likely, you have email hosted on the same server, so this would be unavoidable. Email can not be proxied by Cloudflare unless you’re on an Enterprise plan, so those hostnames would have to be set to :grey: DNS Only.

If you want more specific guidance, please post a screenshot of all your DNS records. It’s ok to black out any IP addresses.
