How to get a chromebook enrolled in cloudflare gateway

hi.
i’m trying to get my chromebook enrolled into cloudflare gateway.
only problem, the 1.1.1.1, 1, can be uninstalled easily, and2, there is no chrome extension (to my knowledge) that i can force-install.
editionally, i don’t have enterprise plan for zero-trust, only free.
what do i do?

Hi, Are you using Manual Deployment or Managed Deployment to deploy WARP and enroll your devices? Have you been successful in enrolling other devices on a different OS?

Chromebooks are supported by the Android app. All Chromebooks made after 2019 should fully support the Android app. If you have a Chromebook made before 2019, refer to this list to verify that your device is supported.

Assuming you are following the ‘Manual Deployment’ method, have you ensured you have completed the prerequisites of Setting The Device Enrollment Permissions?

Once the prerequisites are complete you can follow the below;

iOS, Android, and ChromeOS

  1. Download and install the Cloudflare One Agent app.
  2. Launch the Cloudflare One Agent app.
  3. Select Next.
  4. Review the privacy policy and select Accept.
  5. Enter your team name.
  6. Complete the authentication steps required by your organization.
  7. After authenticating, select Install VPN Profile.
  8. In the Connection request popup window, select OK.
  9. If you did not enable auto-connect, manually turn on the switch to Connected.

The device should now be protected by your organization’s Zero Trust policies.

Let me know how you get on or if you require any further assistance.

the problem with the android application is i’m a blind admin, and the1.1.1.1 application is not very screen reader friendly on the mobile/chromeOS side.
as for windows, yes, i am successful.

i’m still having trouble after a week of trying to get this chromebook enrolled. starting to think that there is no way.
in my opinion, cloudflare should create a chrome extension for this type of stuf, rather then relying on a simple doesn’t even work on our chromebooks application.

hello.
I lost my other account so I have this1.
so I usually use manual deployment, because I actually don’t know how to get managed deployment working on Android, even though I have looked through the documentation…
