How to disable caching on Checkout?

Hello there!

I know that Cloudflare probably does not cache Checkout pages. I build funnels using Cartflows and the I have over 10 checkout pages. All of them have “CHECKOUT” word, followed by a product name, for example, “t-shirt-checkout” or “jeans-checkout”.

How can I bulk disable all the checkout?

Can I do it by going to page rules and then in the URL inserting:

website.com/checkout*

to exclude all the sites having a word CHECKOUT in the url name.
Is that correct?

Greetings,

Thank you for asking.

Yes, you can achieve to disable caching with the Page Rules following the path you want with the option “Caching Level: Bypass”.

Should be domain.com/*checkout* in a Page Rule, because /checkout* would match only the pages like:

  • domain.com/something/checkout-abc
  • domain.com/checkout/
  • domain.com/checkout/abcdef/ghi/

While domain.com/*checkout* would match the stuff what you want to achieve:

  • domain.com/shop/category/t-shirt/checkout
  • domain.com/shop/category/t-shirt-checkout
  • domain.com/t-shirt/checkout
  • domain.com/t-shirt-checkout
