How to direct my domain to a particular website

Hello guys,

I am new here. I have purchased a domain named “examthalon.com”. I would like to redirect this domain name to another website , which is hosting my website. How can I do it?
I was told to register any name servers and direct URL there, but it isn’t working. Please help me out.
