How to delete my website which I NEVER regestrated on cloudflare?

Hi, first: I am a total “layman” to the whole website topic. But I feel desperate meanwhile for I have no idea how to solve my problem.

I used a website via wordpress, which I cancelled and which has been deleted by wordpress in 2019. Though, the website still exists and can be found on google & Co. From wordpress I received the information, that the website has been registrated again in 2020 but not via worldpress but via cloudflare. I put the Mail from wordpress down below, so maybe it might help…

I never knew cloudflare before, never used it or had the will to reuse my website, which is still full of my texts, photographs, as well as adress, phone number etc. I have no login an no control about the website since 2019 but it is very important for me, to get it finally deleted. Direct contact to cloudflare seems impossible. Please help me, I have really no idea what to do. Thanks for your help!

I am happy to help with this. I looked into your account and can see that you have your site XXX with us and then deleted the site. The site is no longer available, you can check the link also: XXX

I can also see that you purchased the domain XXX in 2014 but it was removed from your account in 2019 due to expiration and as such, it is not related to WordPress

I checked WHOIS and can see that the domain was registered again in 2020. You can find more information about this here: [WHOIS]

The site is hosted with cloudflare and you can also contact them using this guide: …

If your site content was deleted and the domain expired as they say, as far as you are concerned everything was deleted. Once domains are deleted they are available for anyone to buy so the domain and the current associated Cloudflare account are nothing to do with you.

If you give the domain, people here can also check the domain history.

Thanks for your answer. Of course, the domain is free than and could be used by everyone else. But how could anybody use my whole content?? Including the imprint? How could this be legal??

I’d like the post the domain, but the site refuses adding Links. don’t know how to do ist…

maybe this way… :see_no_evil:

Either…

  1. It’s been scraped and copied (from before deletion, or from Google)
    or (more likely)
  2. Your content is still in place, and the previous DNS records were auto-imported or set to point at it. Your host says they deleted your content though so you’d need to double check with them to ensure the files were actually deleted.
