What is the issue or error you’re encountering

Creating an API Token in web UI does not let me select User: API Tokens - Edit/Read

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I found that I can create a token with User: API Tokens permissions only if I use the template “Create Additional Tokens”

I can’t find documentation on this anywhere.

Why can’t I add this User: API Tokens permission to custom tokens or existing tokens?

I did this. Please compare to my screenshots. I even included the link you provided as a reference – i.e. I’ve read that documentation already
