How to add www. record?

Hello,

I want my website with a www. record (https://www.domain.com instead of https://domain.com)
Do I need to make an A-record or a CNAME?
And how do I need to make the page rule?

An “A” record works best if you have an IP address for that server. It usually matches the record for the example.com entry. And then this redirect will help. You can probably skip the part about adding the DNS record. Just make sure it’s set to :orange: so the redirect will work.

So… If I have a A record with name: @, Content: IP and did the rewrite it has to work, right?
Does the webserver adds the www. automatically?

The @ record needs to be set to :orange: for the Page Rule to work.

Your site needs to be configured as ‘www’ to work, and you need that “A” record for ‘www’.
