Hey there guys,
I have been using Cloudflare my two sites for the quite some time, and I love it.
I wan to create a sub-domain for my https://crassulacare.com/. Someone told me that I must add a record in DNS SECTION for the sub-domain as well.
Do I need to add the same hosting SHARED IP?
How to achieve such a task?
I need help in steps guys, I am a newbie.
THANKS.
Hi @crassulacare,
Yes, you will need to add a record in your Cloudflare DNS for the subdomain to resolve. Assuming that you have configured the subdomain on the same server/hosting account as as your main domain, yes you use the same IP.
This tutorial might help, when you add the record, just make sure that the name is set to the name of the subdomain you want to add. So if I have example.com
configured in Cloudflare and want to add subdomain.example.com
, I would call the record subdomain
.
Hey there,
Thanks for the help. I followed your guidelines, and it all went well.
Now my subdomain is in the cloudflare as well.
THANKS MATE.
