How to active SSL/TLS without proxied?

SSL not work without proxied.

What is the issue you’re encountering

Recently we tested Cloudflare SSL/TLS features, it works with when we active proxied option on DNS record, but without proxied it does not work.

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Off

Of course, if not proxied then requests go to your server and not through Cloudflare.

Don’t use Cloudflare to front an origin server that itself doesn’t have SSL enabled. It means the connection from Cloudflare to your server isn’t encrypted and exporeses your users’ data. Always use SSL on your origin and set the SSL/TLS mode in Cloudflare to “Full (strict)”.
