I am looking into dashboard data and stumbled over the IQI data. In the Glossary (Glossary · Cloudflare Radar docs) it says, the data is gathered by “end-user measurements”. How can I understand that? Is active probing meant or more about Cloudflare Speedtest site?

Generally speaking, the measurements are gathered from a feature that is available in all current browsers, and it’s triggered at random by any Cloudflare zone, but the zone that triggered it has no impact in the metrics.
This is not the same as speed test. Speed test is meant to reflect performance under the best and worst conditions, to assess connection quality, the IQI on the other hand is meant to reflect average performance, to assess the current quality of service from the viewer/browser standpoint.
