How firewall rules work

I have some doubts about working of firewall rules. It will be great if you can clarify them.

  1. If I am using two rules. One of them js challenge United States while other allow known good bots then known good bots will not be js challenged, right?

  2. If one ip have threat value of 11 and is covered by firewall rule which js challenge. At the site, it is from country which is being also being challenged. Will it cause double js challenge?
    What would have happened if country was being challenged by captcha?

  1. Rules trigger in order. If JS Challenge the US is first, it won’t get to the Allow Good Bots rule. You should put that Allow Good Bots rule first.
  2. Order still matters. There won’t be a double challenge. Only one rule will trigger.
