In the video explaining how to setup 18.104.22.168 on ios several of the steps don’t apply to ios 9. For example the number used for redundancy cant be added. Is there anyway to properly and safely change to 22.214.171.124 on ios 9?
I do not think iOS 9 allows DNS to be changed. You can try installing DNSCloak/DNS Override, but support could not go that far back.
This article is from 2014… nor sure if that’s old enough to be iOS 9 or not…
It might be useful if you can post a screenshot showing where you get lost, as not many of us have access to outdated operating systems. Even so, the settings should be basically the same going back several versions.
That requires a static IP from the router though and works only on Wi-Fi (even now you can’t change it on Cellular).
