How do I use DDNS proxied

I have DDNS enabled on my router and an A record in Cloudflare that points to my static IP but noticed when I proxy that A record to protect it from DDOS attack my DDNS stops working as it starts to point itself to a Cloudflare IP instead of my static IP!

Any guidance here appreciated as I’m currently using my DDNS A record setup unproxied!

It’s a Proxy. That’s exactly how it’s supposed to behave.
