How do I revert an A record in my DNS settings?

I accidentally changed the *.domain.com A record in my DNS settings and I can’t figure out what it used to be. Is there way to view the history of that record, figure out what the values were, and revert?

Check your audit log for when you made the change…

Thanks, I checked that already, but I can’t seem to find out what the value used to be. Any ideas?

Ask your hosting provider what it should be?

Hey @toddadel

Unfortunately we are unable to provide historical DNS settings - I apologise.

That being said, I also recommend reaching out to your hosting provider for assistance with recreating the A record.

If you continue to face issue, please open a Cloudflare support ticket and provide the ticket number here and we will try to assist further.

Thanks
