Original Web host has gone broke and disappeared We may just move off Cloudflare to a dedicated server. Looks easier and faster to resolve given there is no support from Cloudflare..
Cloudflare merely acted as a security layer protecting and accelerating your website, with your actual hosting provider behind it.
If your hosting provider is OOB (and their servers aren’t online any longer), then Cloudflare cannot load your site from the non-existing server.
All you have to do is sign up with a new hosting provider (dedicated server, shared hosting, SaaS site builder – doesn’t make a difference at all) and edit your Cloudflare DNS to point your domain to that new provider’s IP address.
Again, the IP address must come from your new hosting provider, not Cloudflare.
So you may choose to either cut off Cloudflare completely and use either your registrar or new hosting provider’s DNS manager to connect your domain directly to your new hosting provider…
… Or keep Cloudflare to protect and accelerate your site, and just edit the Cloudflare DNS to point to the new hosting provider.
