How do I create a proxy exception for a non-website port?

We need to publish an environment where X.X.X.187:443 runs the website and X.X.X.187:5085 runs a example: VNC app. How do I create a proxy exception for this port?

Welcome to the Cloudflare Community. :logodrop:

You will need to create a unique hostname for the non-HTTP application that uses the non-standard port (e.g. It needs to be an A record and not a CNAME. You must set it to :grey: DNS Only. This will cause a warning triangle :warning: to appear by that hostname. It is just an informative message and you cannot make it go away as long as you need to use non-proxied services on an otherwise proxied host.
