How do I Configure DNS to send Web Traffic to wpengine.com while leaving MX at my current host?

Hi,
After looking around for a while I couldn’t see anything that helped me with this.
I have a web site running at Zuver.net with mail services. I’m happy with the mail services and want to leave them where they are. I want to move the web site to wpengine.com.

Looking at the MX record on the DNS panel, it says “Mail handled by my.domain.name”. I’m concerned that if I point the domain name at the CNAME provided by wpengine I’ll lose my email services.

What is recommended?

If your current website is example.com, and your MX record also points to example.com, that’s not good. Proper email hosting doesn’t reside on your web server. It should be on a subdomain somewhere.
