How can I change WWW in DNS on Basic plan?

I need to have my DNS have its WWW point to another web host company’s IP address. How can I do this on the Basic plan where there is no tech support to change it?

You’re able to fully manage your own DNS records for domains using Cloudflare nameservers in your account. Even on an Enterprise plan Cloudflare doesn’t make changes to customers DNS settings on their behalf.

There is no option for WWW in the DNS records dropdown.

You can enter it in the name text box:

The host provider is going to give you an A or CNAME record type to create and the appropriate values for same. You will want to create a record of the type specified with the associated content or edit an existing one.
