Hotlink Protection -> Error 1011 -> Google Search Console Crawling-Problem

Hi there,

I have installed Cloudflare on my website last week and now I am having trouble with the Google Search Console. It shows that 64 URLs have a Crawling-Problem. If I click on the links I am getting an Error 1011 Access Denied.

So far I was able to find out that this is because I have set up Hotlink Protection in my Cloudflare account and it makes sense to me to use this. But I do not really why this leads to a Crawling-Problem and how to get rid of it.

When googling for images of my website I can find some of them in the Google search and click on them with no errors.

Can you help me with this?

Hotlink Protection is part of the Scrape Shield settings in the Cloudflare dashboard. You can disable it there.
