What is the issue you’re encountering

I’m transfering a big file (e.g. 4GB) from one device (e.g. laptop) in my home network to my nas. If WARP is connected, I get about 10% of the throughput I get if disconnected. Is there a way to tweak configuration to get a better throughput? I’m new to this hence apologies, if this is a dumb question :-).

Hi there,

One thing to remember is that when you’re outside, downloading a file from your home network, the maximum download speed you’ll ever reach is the upload speed from your home internet connection.

Having said this, if you feel like WARP is too slow in your current geographical area, consider purchasing WARP+ or invite friends to receive 1Gb of high priority traffic per friend.
