Holding page is torrent/porn site

#1

Hi all, we have hundreds of domains using the Cloudflare DNS and those that are not yet live seem to be redirecting to torrent/porn sites rather than normal holding pages. Any way to stop this please?
Thanks a lot,

The origin server you have specified in your DNS settings is where Cloudflare is sending the traffic. If you control that origin server you may have an issue… if you don’t control it you should point the domains somewhere else or delete the records until you have configured the site.

Thanks a lot. We like to point it to Cloudflare while we’re building/preparing the site so that we can turn it on easily without contacting the domain owner. They’re a valued partner…but the sooner we get the nameservers to us, the easier it is. We don’t control that server - it’s the default rudy/lorna cloudflare DNS. Is there a way to ‘force’ a default holding page please? Thanks a lot,

Sorry by ‘control’ I meant the target for the DNS entries like www. The page/site being returned resides on whatever server that is. You could use workers to build a default landing page, but the target of the DNS entry on Cloudflare pointed to a default landing page you build/control is probably simpler/ more cost effective.
