Hold placed on domain

I get the error “The zone name provided is subject to a hold which disallows the creation of this zone. Please contact the domain owner to have this hold removed.” even though I just bought the domain with Porkbun.

Without knowing the domain, we can’t say for certain, but this sounds like a Domain Status server hold per ICANN

Try running your domain through a WHOIS search and check the Domain Status. If it shows serverHold, check with your registrar to see why this domain is not activated.

This is being looked into. In the interim, removing the Porkbun default nameservers has been reported to resolve this.
