What is the issue you’re encountering

When I upgrade my PC to Windows 11 24H2, WARP causes the cam-svc service (Capability Access Manager Service) to run with very high CPU usage (100%). It causes my PC to run slowly and hang .

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Disable Warp service or Uninstall Warp

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Install Warp on Windows 11 24H2 version

May I ask if you were running some Anti-Virus/Malware software which might scanned the app at the moment?

Have you tried to temporary disable the cam-svc service?

And then it stops?

I use Bitdefender Antivirus. There was no problem when my PC was in Windows 11 23H2, but the problem has appeared since I installed Windows 11 24H2. The cam-svc service is a very important service, so I can’t disable it. The issue disappears when I uninstall WARP app or disable warp service. So I think Warp isn’t compatible with Windows 11 24H2 yet. Many VPN app also have compatibility issues with Windows 11 24H2, I heard so.

The problem seems to be fixed in the latest beta version of Warp. The cam-svc service now runs with less than 10% CPU usage.
