Heroku app as a Cloudflare subdomain

I need specific instructions to connect a heroku app as a subdomain at Cloudflare.
I want my Heroku app to be accessed by typing subdomain_name.my_domain_name.com

my_domain_name.com now goes through Cloudflare.

There’s really no specific instructions for CF, just follow the guide Heroku made. DNS records should remain orange clouded :orange: if you want CF IP firewall, page rules, etc set up.
