Help with WWW not showing in browser bar

Hi All,

Its a wordpress site.
All the internal settings show the www name
All the links on the site show have www in them

But the site always showing bare energy-stats.uk

All the cloudflare settings look ok, including dns and ssl. They seem ok.

I’ve got two redirect rules in there too.

https://energy-stats.uk/ - Forwarding URL (Status Code: 301 - Permanent Redirect, Url: https://www.energy-stats.uk) On

http://energy-stats.uk/ - Forwarding URL (Status Code: 301 - Permanent Redirect, Url: https://www.energy-stats.uk/)

The only thing I can see without www is the hostname of my VM, which is energy-stats.uk

Does the underlying hostname have to be set to www too?

I’m having trouble with Google adsense unable confirming my site as it can’t find the code , so i’m wondering if this has got anything to do with it? As you have to put top level in adsense. I’ve also added subdomain www in adsense with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Looks fine to me

Most likely either a browser caching or DNS propagation issue on your side. Clear your browser cache, respectively wait a couple of hours.

Or, you are using Chrome which took the liberty to omit that. In that case I’d recommend to switch to a proper browser  -> https://www.mozilla.org/firefox

There you go, its Chrome. It does indeed work fine on Firefox.

Still doesn’t solve my adsense problems, but at least I can rule this one out.

Thank you.

Which code is it supposed to find?

Adsense looks for the following adsbygoogle code

Which is on my pages, placed there by Google Site-Kit wordpress plugin.

But for whatever reason, Adsense continually says it cannot find the code on my site.

I’ve search cloudflare community, i’ve raised a call on the wordpress site-kit forum as well as the Google Adsense community.

https://support.google.com/adsense/thread/23447740?hl=en
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/google-site-kit/

But i’m still non the wiser why Google is saying it can’t find the code.

Pause Cloudflare (bottom right, Overview screen) and check if it still does not work. If it doesnt the issue is on your site. Maybe try disabling Rocket Loader too.

Paused CF and my site broke.
It relies on CF to do 301 redirects (non www to www) and http to https.

So i’ve switched CF back on.

Where can I find this? Which menu is it in please?

If your site breaks without Cloudflare you have a general issue and should definitely look into this. That should not happen.

As for Rocket Loader, that is under Speed.
