Help with url redirection

Sorry about asking a basic question but I’m a little stumped.

We have a DNS entry with CloudFlare like site.domain.com which points to a website. I’ve just had a request in that we also want to have www.site.domain.com that just lands on wite.domain.com and I can’t think of the best way to achieve that.

Is it a CNAME record or should I use CloudFlare DNS proxying and a Page Rule? If so, how best to go about it?

Sorry again for such a basic question, I just don’t want to get it wrong!

Cheers
Kenny

The first problem you’ll face is that Cloudflare’s SSL/TLS cert doesn’t cover sub-subdomain. You’d need a $10/month custom certificate to cover a hostname that deep.

If you pay for that, though, a simple Page Rule can forward that traffic:
Match: www.site.domain.com/*
Setting: Forwarding URL (301) to https://site.domain.com
