unable to access windows machine through tunnel but ok using rdp app and IP
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
changed access method in Cloudflare tunnel, tried http, https, rdp, edited Cloudflare tunnel setting to include port 3389 on the windows IP.
If I click the name under the Public host name - it will load a page but is blank
Hi Ikmal, I have previously looked at this document- I do not have a server.
My setup is as follows Microsoft rdp app on iPad with my router IP set, port forwarded to my internal pc.
This is ok but when the router changes IP I have to change the setting in rdp app, also didn’t want to expose ports.
I thought I could simply create a tunnel (which is live currently) using my domain name (which I have bought) and then access via a browser.
When I use the domain it just loads a blank webpage.
So- do I have to actually setup a server? I do not use warp.
So, I’ve struggled for weeks now to get this to work…
I have a domain and have a tunnel connected to it for my smart home, I thought I am able to setup a sub domain tunnel for an internal pc (without having to open ports) and use the sub domain to connect using a rdp app.
Installed tunnel and added connector for windows pc.
Sub domain (Public hostname) - mainpc.xxxxxxxhome.co.uk
Service - rdp://Questxxxx:3389
I thought Id be able to use the subdomain in my rdp app and connect - I can not, I then thought is it a authentication thing so added 1tpw. If I click the subdomain it loads the page to enter email, after entering correct one it just goes blank.
