Help: 403 forbidden on http: Site works fine using IP

When I disconnect Cloudflare(using another DNS Zone service), site works fine.

But when connect Cloudflare http wont work. Only https works.

This are somethings I did before http stopped working.

  • I enable Cloudflare to rewrite/redirect all request from http to https.

Days later, the redirect stops working and request to http is returning 403 forbidden error.

Thanks for the help.

Do you have any WAF rules in place?

Cloudflare will serve 403 responses if the request violated either a default WAF rule enabled for all orange-clouded Cloudflare domains or a WAF rule enabled for that particular zone.

Cloudflare will also serve a 403 Forbidden response for SSL connections to sub/domains that aren’t covered by any Cloudflare or uploaded SSL certificate.

No WAF rule in place… WAF is off

Cloudflare SSL covers melindex.com and *.melindex.com…

It was working before and even redirecting http to https… I did not change anything before it stopped working… and http stopped getting redirected to https but instead showing a 403 Forbidden response…

Just now, I checked and its working fine… but what could have caused that… Because It would not be good launching with that kind of problem.
