Hello, I am trying to add a domain, miit.edu.mu to cloudflare but it wants me to add a root domain. edu.mu is the root domain but it is controlled by the registrar in Mauritius, so I do not have access to it. Is there any way to add a multilevel domain?

Hello, I am trying to add a domain, miit.edu.mu to cloudflare but it wants me to add a root domain. edu.mu is the root domain but it is controlled by the registrar in Mauritius, so I do not have access to it. Is there any way to add a multilevel domain?

edu.mu isn’t in the public suffix list, which only shows these suffixes…

// mu : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.mu
mu
com.mu
net.mu
org.mu
gov.mu
ac.mu
co.mu
or.mu

…which is why Cloudflare won’t let you add it.

Wikipedia does show edu.mu as a second level domain so maybe it’s a recent change and the PSL needs to catch up. But it does appear edu.mu is just a registered domain.
