What is the name of the domain?
What is the error number?
none
What is the issue you’re encountering
In the last few days we have notice connections from applications running on Windows 11 (but not Windows 10) are being upgraded to HTTP/3 where before they were not being upgraded. Has anyone else seen this behavior or can Cloudflare support confirm this change?
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Disable HTTP/3 setting

May I ask if you have some issue with HTTP/3 in your Web browser while visiting your Website?
How about other Websites? Are they normally working with HTTP/3 requests for you?
Has anything changed on the origin server?
Not using a web browser. Its using API GRPC from a custom client application
Nothing has changed on the origin side

Hey,
Are you asking why CF is preferring HTTP/3 over HTTP/2/HTTP/1.1 or why you are seeing HTTP/3 requests with HTTP/3 disabled?

I am wondering why, without any changes to CF settings and no changes to the origin side, the requests are being upgraded in the last day or so
If the issue is that you don’t want HTTP/3 support for some reason, you can shut it off in the Dashboard under the Speed tab: https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/speed/optimization/protocol
If the issue is that you already have it shut off but you’re seeing HTTP/3 anyway, that’s a bug that we can escalate.
Can you clarify which problem you’re having?
Cloudflare rolls out new features and behaviors to improve performance and security all the time. There have been changes in this regard recently.
I’m not Cloudflare support but tis true.

its fixed (so far) by disabling http/3 but the issue is that its breaking a GRPC call when its used. Issue is resolved but wondering if there was a recent update on CF backend in the last few days
