Our previous IT specialist once plugged a domain into your service. Is there a chance to delegate the site to us if I provide the previous DNS records? We dont had a previous accounts CF
Best regards
I am afraid no one from could do this except there is a way by if youâre using a higher, paid plan and have a support which could do the needed changes for you.
However, the best practice is to follow the simple step-by-step instructions from the Cloudflare Docs when needed and/or contact Cloudflare Support for further troubleshooting and help.
May I ask if you do have the access to the Cloudflare account associated with this domain name and able to manage your domain?
If yes, then youâd be able to manage the DNS records for your zone.
Otherwise, you might not have the needed permissions of you do have some kind of a âsub-accountâ with restricted and/or limited permissions to edit settings.
Where is your domain registered? At Cloudflare Registrar?
Was it transferred recently or?
From what I understand, the domain name is under the âIT specialistâsâ Cloudflare account, correct?
If you cannot login and have no access to the email on the account, I am afraid no one will be able to help you in such case.
Youâd have to be able to contact the IT specialist that did the work on your behalf in order to gain access, edit and manage domain name, DNS records and other settings as well. At that point you will have control over the domain.
The only way youâll be able to regain access is by having access to the email address of the account.

Unfortunately i dont have account being associated with this domain.
He also asked some other important questions, like this:
Or you can just post the domain name like example DOT com
. That would help answer the question.
As for the DNS records, those donât matter a whole lot, since many of them are public, and the proxied ones would point to your hosting, which youâd just ask your host for.
