Guidance on Cookies and Security for Static Sites on Cloudflare Pages

I am planning to host a simple, static site on Cloudflare Pages. I would like to know if Cloudflare Pages and its associated auxiliary services use cookies in a manner that would require me to implement a consent banner to comply with regulations such as GDPR and LGPD. Additionally, I am interested in understanding whether there is a need for added protection or DDoS attack mitigation when using Cloudflare Pages for my site.

Cloudflare Pages does not use any cookies. It’s simply a hosting platform.

The Cloudflare CDN may send cookies based on your configuration. You can see the cookie policy here: Cloudflare Cookie Policy
And you can learn more about the potential cookies sent here: Cloudflare Cookies · Cloudflare Fundamentals docs

Pages is still backed by the Cloudflare CDN so DDoS protection is included.
