Google's reCAPTCHA attracts lots of bots

we noticed the following:
in the CF Dashboard you can navigate to the traffic analyis and then set a filter like “Content Type equals HTML”. Then only HTML requested hits are shown in the analysis.

We observe that Google and Facebook bots visit 1 page the most (by far!!): it is our contact form which integrates a Google reCAPTCHA in order to prevent Spam from sending us emails through that form.

Why is that reCAPTCHA attracting so much bots?
Does anybody also observe this?
Other ideas why a contact form is the most visited website overall?

Correlation does not equal causation. Bots like forms.

Because bots like forms.

Based on user agent or based on those actually being Google and Facebook authorized crawlers?

Yes, 80% is Google Bot and also “facebookexternalhit/1.1” . But at least 40% of all hits is coming from Google Bots…
