I have a Google Workspace account with my domain email configured using Cloudflare MX records. Originally I had set it up using the Google recommended SMTP MX records, but that broke the functionality for routing and as a result I was unable to have a Wordpress plugin app on my website send automated email responses to clients booking onsite via the app.
Switching to Cloudflare MX records fixed the automated email but now alias email addresses on my domain do not get emails properly routed (sent) to them. I am also unable to configure and use my Google Workspace primary email for the above purpose of sending automated email responses via the plugin app. This appears to be a Cloudflare routing issue, and I and not technically competent to troubleshoot and fix.
