Google favicon not showing

Google doesn’t see favicon

All my favicon settings are correct. I also look at the page source, the icon appears. However, the icon does not appear at https://estate.com. Google doesn’t see it.

Icon appears in other URL options (http, www). But there is no https favicon. How can I solve this problem?

Can you clarify what you mean by “google doesn’t see it”? Do you mean Google Chrome doesn’t show it? In my case - it shows your icon on the tab and also on a bookmark if I bookmark the page.

Best to read and check your HTML and Favicon against all of the requirements Google provide:

Those guidelines state:

The URL of the favicon. The URL can be a relative path ( /smile.ico ) or absolute path ( https://example.com/smile.ico ). The URL must be in the same domain as the home page.

Your HTML shows:

<link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="//img.sedoparking.com/templates/logos/sedo_logo.png"/>

They won’t show this icon because the URL of the icon isn’t on the same domain as the homepage.

Thank you.

I checked all of these. However, I have the same problem on my 2 sites with cloudflare installed. There is no problem on my non-Cloudflare sites where I do the same.

Google’s documentation is quite clear here, so I don’t think this is a Cloudflare issue. My recommendation would be to bring the image onto the same domain and then ask Google to re-crawl your site and see if that changes things.
