Problem Turning on DNSSEC - Can’t Add a DS Record to Domain Registrar
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Following Cloudflare setup guide. I’ve recently updated nameservers on registrar (godaddy), resulted in no public access to website. Cloudflare guide suggests turning on DNSSEC and add a DS Record with godaddy. I copy and paste info from Cloudflare to GoDaddy, but the information won’t save. GoDaddy have referred me back to Cloudflare.
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
I’m seeing a redirect loop. And this is often caused by incorrect Cloudflare SSL/TLS setting. Check to be sure this is set to Full (Strict) and report back.
I’m not sure if this compromises anything by posting publicly - but this is the info from Cloudflare to copy over to GoDaddy.
The “Maximum Signature Life” is pre-filled - not sure what to do with this one.
Many thanks.
That all looks fine. GoDaddy shouldn’t be sending you back here. Everything you entered is valid. They’ll need to provide more information on why they couldn’t submit DS records.
I even checked to make sure that .ltd supports Algorithm 13, and it does.
