I suspect one of my DNS settings is incorrect and causing my email not to work…please help!

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with receiving and/or sending e-mails while using Coudflare for your domain name.
Usually, the MX
record should point to a hostname such as mail
, and the A
(or CNAME
) type record for that hostname should be set to (DNS Only).
From the screenshot above, please fix as follows:

A autoconfig
,A autodiscover
,A cpcalendars
,A cpanel
,A cpcontacts
,A imap
,A mail
,A pop3
,A smtp
,A webdisk
→ switch all of them from to(DNS-only)
- Remove
CNAME ftp
- Add new
A ftp
and point it to IP address and make sure it’s set to(DNS-only)
May I suggest checking below article if your e-mail records (usually the A mail and the MX record) are configured properly while you are using Cloudflare for your domain name:
