GitBook is giving Error 1014 when I try and connect a subdomain

What is the name of the domain?

CNAME Cross-User Banned

What is the isssue you’re encountering

Gitbook won’t connect

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I tried removing and re-adding.

This worked previously on a different domain but now seems to be struggling.

I’m unclear if the wildcard A record is causing this, but it hasn’t on anything else.

I assume you’ve added CNAME record. And you may set it to DNS only instead of proxied.
