When you tested your domain, what were the results?

Describe the issue you are having:
I am getting error NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID while visiting my sub domain.
If i check the SSL certificate on sslshopperssl checker feature , it seems that chain is broken and valid CA cert is not present.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. I went through the doc for origin certificate and followed “Additional steps” mentioned
  2. I download the Cloudflare Origin RSA PEM
  3. Created a certificate chain and install on my server

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?
Yes it was working with SSL certificate issued by different site.

Have you tried from another browser and/or incognito mode?

Please attach a screenshot of the error: is not proxied through Cloudflare so requests are going direct to your origin.

The Cloudflare origin certificate is only trusted by Cloudflare, hence the warning…

You either need to use the Cloudflare proxy, or use a LetsEncrypt or other trusted CA SSL certificate on your origin.

Thanks for your quick help , I was able to resolve the issue with details you have provided. Removed NS records of my web hosting provider. And it worked like a charm.
