Getting Error 1014 Cross-User Banned when adding a CNAME record for circle.so

I have added a “community” CNAME record for our Circle.so account that points to wsg-community.circle.so.

However, I am getting an error when I visit community.winescholarguild.com : Error 1014 Ray ID: 822de220dfe23261 • 2023-11-08 12:40:14 UTC CNAME Cross-User Banned

Any idea on how to resolve?

Hi there,

In order to point your CNAME to another Cloudflare zone, the receiving end needs to create an SSL/TLS Custom Hostname to receive it, otherwise you’ll get that 1014.
