Getting Error 1000 after adding subdomain to a render site

Hello, I created the subdomain viewer.ezyvue.com using a CNAME record, which points to https://viewer-tkid.onrender.com. I’m getting error 1000 when accessing viewer.ezyvue.com.
I’ve tried setting Proxy Status to both Proxied and DNS but get the same error. https://viewer-tkid.onrender.com has an IP address on Cloudflare which I assume is causing the error.
How can I resolve this?

Have you followed their documentation to add a custom domain to your app?
