I have my DNS servers set to 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11, along with DNSSEC and DNS-over-TLS enabled, and seem to be getting Cloudflare DNS servers when I use DNS leak tests… for example:
So I’m assuming 18.104.22.168 selects the fastest Cloudflare DNS servers, which are reflected above… but when I go to https://22.214.171.124/help, I get:
|Connected to 126.96.36.199|No
|Using DNS over HTTPS (DoH)|No
|Using DNS over TLS (DoT)|No
|Cloudflare Data Center|EWR
Does anyone else have this problem? I am using a VPN, but I have the OpenVPN DNS setting set to “Disabled” so my understanding is that my router’s normal DNS settings should apply… and I think they are, because 188.8.131.52 and 184.108.40.206 appear to be Cloudflare DNS servers.
